Custom software and ERP for businesses in Mallorca

We build custom management software and ERPs for businesses in Mallorca and the rest of Spain, from Palma. They fit best when the work goes into typing in supplier catalogues and price lists by hand or copying data between programs that do not talk to each other. They are built module by module, starting with the process that takes the most work, tested with your real data and, once paid for, the code is yours.

catalogue up to date and the previous price list kept
Example with made-up data. This is how an import works: each supplier with its own format, and anything doubtful is decided by a person.

Who it is for

  • Importers and distributors that receive each supplier’s catalogue and price list in its own format: a different Excel file per factory, PDFs, seasonal price lists.
  • Companies whose management software has fallen short and that have a collection of spreadsheets around it to fill the gaps.
  • Companies whose programs do not talk to each other: the same piece of data is typed into the management software, the accounting software and a spreadsheet.
  • Anyone who wants to deal directly with the person who writes the code, without intermediaries or salespeople.

It is not for you if an off-the-shelf product does almost everything you need and what is missing is convenient but not essential. Then the honest thing is to tell you, and we do.

What problem it removes

Each supplier’s price list is typed in by hand, row by row.

The program imports each format, flags what has changed and leaves anything doubtful to a person.

The management software has fallen short and spreadsheets surround it.

A modular ERP that replaces the part that fails and keeps what works.

The same data is typed three times.

It is typed once and reaches the other programs, accounting included, when its module comes.

Licences grow with every new person.

No per-user licences: you pay for the software, not for each seat.

Screens designed for an IT person.

Simple screens, made for people who have worked another way for years.

What a custom ERP can include

Not everything on day one. You start with the module that removes the most manual work and add the rest when it is needed.

  • Catalogue and product records

Items, variants, suppliers and prices, with each factory’s price list imported in its own format.

  • Purchasing and supplier orders

From quote to order to receipt, without copying data from one document to another.

  • Sales and customers

Quotes, orders and sales follow-up, with the catalogue always up to date.

  • Warehouse and logistics

Stock, samples, shipments and containers, depending on what your company moves.

  • Invoicing

VERI*FACTU-compliant from the start, or connected to your current invoicing software. More in custom VERI*FACTU invoicing.

  • Connection to the accounting software

Accounting stays where it is. The ERP passes it the data so nobody types it again.

What to decide before you start

What stays. Replacing everything at once is rarely the answer. You need to know which programs stay on day one, which go, and in which module each thing changes.

Where it will run. On a server in the office, in the cloud you already pay for or in a vendor’s cloud. The company decides, not whoever writes the code, and it belongs in the first meeting: we have seen a project stall because nobody asked in time.

Who installs and maintains it. If you have an external IT person, they need to be in the conversation from the start. And before signing, it is written down who handles backups, updates and new users.

Whether you will apply for public funding. Some grant calls only pay for work commissioned after the application is submitted. If that is your case, say so in the first meeting. We go into it in custom software in the Balearic Islands: what to ask before commissioning it.

How we work

  1. We talk for 30 minutes

Free. You tell us the process that takes the most work and which programs you use.

  2. We study your case

We ask you a few questions by email and, if needed, ask for a real catalogue or document.

  3. Written proposal

With the scope split into modules, the phases and the price. You know what you pay before we start.

  4. We build it module by module

Each one is tested with your real data and can be used as soon as it is finished.

  5. We hand you the keys

The code, the access credentials and the documentation, as it is built.

Real work

An importer in Barcelona

Contracted · in development

An ERP built to measure, module by module

It replaces the sales management software that had fallen short. The accounting software stays as it is and the connection to it comes in a later module. Because some people in the office have used the previous system for decades, one condition was that the screens be very simple.

The first module is the catalogue: manufacturers, items, variants and prices, with the import of the price lists that arrive from each factory in its own format. Every import is tested with the real catalogues of their suppliers.

It is not in production yet and has no users. And it is not in Mallorca: we work remotely, and the process is the same for a company in Palma, Inca or Manacor.

Frequently asked questions about custom software in Mallorca

Do you work with companies all over Mallorca and the Balearic Islands?
Yes. We are based in Palma and work remotely, by video call, with companies on the islands and on the mainland. The project we have in development is for an importer in Barcelona.
How much does a custom ERP cost?
It depends on the modules and on what has to be connected, which is why we do not publish rates. After the consultation we send you a written proposal with the scope split into modules, the phases and the price. Payment can be spread in monthly instalments while it is built.
How long does it take?
Timelines are set in the proposal, by phase. What matters is that the first module can be used as soon as it is finished, without waiting for everything.
Do I have to give up my accounting software?
No. Usually accounting stays where it is and the ERP passes it the data, so nobody types it twice.
Is the code mine?
By default, the code is yours once paid for: we hand over the code, the access credentials and the documentation. In some projects a usage licence makes sense; if so, we explain it in the proposal.
Does it run in the cloud or on our server?
Wherever you decide. If you already pay for a cloud, the usual thing is to install it there rather than add another vendor. If some data must not leave the company, it can run on your own server.
Can it include VERI*FACTU invoicing?
Yes. The invoicing module can be built VERI*FACTU-compliant from the start, or the ERP can be connected to invoicing software that already complies. We issue our own invoices with a VERI*FACTU system we built.
Can you help me with a grant?
We can include preparing the technical part in the quote, at an additional cost agreed in the proposal. If you are going to apply, tell us at the start: some grant calls only pay for work commissioned after the application is submitted.
